There are even a few Queen Charlotte-inspired outfits that will have you looking like the diamond of the season. Fringe 2 Piece Set
After the resounding success of the first season of Bridgerton, it's no surprise that season 2 broke records and became Netflix’s most-streamed English-language season of a TV series. Though we still don't know when season 3 — which will center around Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan)'s love story — will debut, we do know that Bridgerton costumes will be everywhere the next few months in anticipation for Halloween, especially after the latest success of the Bridgerton prequel, Queen Charlotte.
While the first season of the book-turned-show follows the whirlwind courtship of Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and the Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), the second season focused on Viscount Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey)'s quest to finding a wife, who winds up being — spoiler alert — Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley). Now that two seasons are complete, the possibilities for Bridgerton Halloween costumes are endless (even if you're shopping for a Halloween costume at the last minute).
Whether you want to go as Anthony, Lady Whistledown, Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh), or another Bridgerton sibling in the show or as young Queen Charlotte (India Ria Amarteifio), King George III (James Fleet) or young Lady Danbury (Arsema Thomas) from the Queen Charlotte prequel, this list will give you serious costume inspiration. You can purchase all the Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte costume pieces you need on Amazon or select a few pieces and build the rest from what you have in your closet. Either way, be prepared to dazzle as the diamond of the (spooky) season and be the envy of all when you step out this Halloween.

With the release of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story earlier this year, viewers saw Queen Charlotte and King George in a way they never have. Before she was picking the diamond of the season, Queen Charlotte was a young seventeen-year-old (played by India Ria Amarteifio) preparing for her arranged marriage to a young King George (Corey Mylcreest). The series follows the two young adults as they quickly go from enemies to lovers, and Bridgerton fans learn about their children, their life together and more about King George's health issues that are hinted at in the Bridgerton series. Although the two make for great individual costumes, this young Charlotte and George costume is the perfect couple's costume. If you want to budget, feel free to see what accessories you have at home that you can make work, especially since most people have white socks, loafers and other jewelry at their disposal.
Although she looks radiant next to her king, Queen Charlotte shines on her own throughout the series, thanks to her many stunning outfits. None is more memorable though than her wedding dress. Not only was it worn during a pivotal moment in the series but it's one of the first chances viewers see her transform from a young woman into a Queen, decked out in jewels, a large pale blue and white gown and, of course, that iconic tiara. You don't necessarily need to invest in a petticoat or shoes since the skirt on its own is pretty full and the dress covers your feet, but if you were wondering which pieces to add to the cart, might we suggest the jewelry, tiara, cape and gown?
Known for her humorous and fun-loving yet occasionally stern approach to life, Lady Danbury has always been a Bridgerton fan favorite, especially since she's played large roles in getting both the main couples together in season 1 and season 2. But in the Queen Charlotte prequel, we see a shyer side of her as someone who was growing up when Queen Charlotte married and ascended the throne, and was forced to deal with an arranged marriage to a much older gentleman (Cyril Nri). She wears many colorful dresses throughout the prequel, but her golden yellow gown when her and Lord Danbury are arriving at court is a standout. Although we can't promise you'll look as amazing as she does in this scene, we can confirm that these essential costume pieces will get you pretty close!
From the beginning of the Bridgerton series, it was clear that Queen Charlotte and her servant Brimsley (Hugh Sachs) had a close bond with one another. In the prequel, we learn the two have been together since both were very young (while also learning more about the Brimsley and his time growing up). Dress up as the duo with a friend or use it as an opportunity to rock a unique couples costume. No need for an over-the-top heavy wig. Accessorize a lighter gray wig with some hair pins and a tiara instead. As for Brimsley's look? The key to pulling it off is investing in the jacket and accessories like the gloves, sash and cravat.
After the death of her father King George II, Princess Augusta (Michelle Fairley) is very involved in royal life under the new reign of her son, King George III. Viewers are first introduced to her when young Queen Charlotte arrives at the palace prior to the her marriage. Her large, stylish outfits are representative of the power she wields and her ability to heavily influence the politics at the time even though she has never actually reigned or been Queen. Although the accessories certainly emphasize the opulent life Princess Augusta lives, the full-skirt pale blue dress is essential to pull off this look.
Although fans were familiar with King George III (James Fleet) through his brief appearances in Bridgerton, we got to understand much more about the history of the King's marriage to Charlotte. Since King George III stays out of the public eye, he's typically found in some sort of casual wear, like an undershirt and robe. You can easily use your own robe and other clothing items to create the costume at home, but if you want to be a bit more accurate and on-trend for the time you can't go wrong with these essentials.
Miss Sharma may not have been declared the Queen's diamond, but she quickly became a favorite as her cheeky wit and devoted love for her sister emerged more and more over the course of season 2. Although Kate had many memorable looks, like her purple bridesmaid dress at Edwina (Charithra Chandran)'s wedding, this deep teal and gold accented dress also stood out. If you're hoping to DIY this costume entirely, choose a long dark-green dress and use gold ribbon to create that high-waist band regency dresses are known for. Oh, and remember to add some gold jewelry and floral hair clips to adorn a sleek low bun. The only thing that "vexes" us about this costume? No Anthony included.
As the leading man of season 2, Anthony always looked sharp and stylish, which is why he makes the perfect costume inspiration for the person who wants to look like the confident star of the show this Halloween. Like Simon's costume, much of this look can be built from basics, like a white long-sleeve shirt or black trousers. Meanwhile, you can focus on investing in accessories like a proper Victorian coat.
Following in Daphne's footsteps from season 1, Edwina was declared the Queen's diamond. As the younger sister of Kate, Edwina was the more soft-spoken and optimistic of the two, often dressing in various shades of pink and pastels to showcase her innocence. She especially looked stunning dressed in white during her wedding to Anthony, which makes it the perfect costume if you want to capture Edwina's angelic nature this October. Start with a simple white dress and low bun and build upon it. Add on a cathedral veil, statement necklace and hair accessories to really finish off the look.
Daphne Basset (née Bridgerton)
As the star of season one, Daphne donned a variety of pastel Regency dresses as she searched for the perfect husband. Although she dazzled in every outfit, one of the most memorable was a pale blue lace gown, accentuated by a crystal choker necklace gifted to her by Prince Friedrich (Freddie Stroma), nephew to Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel). This look starts with a pale blue dress and is enhanced with lace gloves and a stunning piece of costume jewelry (to mimic the aforementioned choker). Top off the look with an updo fastened with some bejeweled hair pins. Oh, and don't forego a comfy pair of ballet slippers.
Simon Basset (Duke of Hastings)
The Duke of Hastings was sadly absent in season 2, but he's still a beloved character. With a few simple pieces, you too can become the debonair Duke this Halloween. You can can create a lot of Simon and Anthony's costumes using pants, undershirts and shoes you probably already have. The pieces you might want to invest in are the waistcoat, tailcoat and, of course, Simon's green brooch, which he always wears to remember his mother.
The opulent gowns and gorgeous hairstyles of Queen Charlotte only seem to get bigger and better with each episode. If you're dressing as this member of royalty, you need a whole lot of lace and jewels. With a huge ball gown and a super elaborate wig, you can't go wrong. Don't forget the smaller details, like a crown and crystal wig pins that truly exude elegance.
Season 1 Penelope may have been all about yellow, but season 2 Penelope was all about pink. As Penelope's role as Lady Whistledown evolved in season 2, so did her style. For this costume to truly work, you absolutely can't forget all the adornments and accessories. Use gilded hair pins and floral-themed jewelry to take her look from everyday to evening. To get Penelope's signature falling tendrils, curl your hair then pile and secure on top of your head before setting with some hairspray.
As a woman who fights societal norms, Eloise makes an impact in all the ways she breaks away from tradition. Even her way of dressing showcases her no-nonsense personality. Eloise's look might be the easiest one to recreate out of the bunch, but that doesn't make it any less fun. Wear the green dress with a dickey collar then pin the pink bow to the dickey to nail the neckline of this look.
As a secondary character in both seasons, Madame Delacroix, a highly in-demand dressmaker, is always in style. For this specific costume, use various shades of purple for Madame Delacroix's dress, gloves and purse to really pop. Use floral combs and finish off with some bright red lipstick.
Plain Organic Cotton T Shirts Famous for her quick wit and her ability to know everything, Lady Danbury's jeweled dresses and colorful accessories give fans more reasons to love watching her. This specific look is all about maroon reds. Although not all of the pieces have to be the exact same shade, using a common hue simply pulls it all together. Lady Danbury's elegance comes from the evening gloves, jewelry and hat she uses to accompany her red dress and coat. You can also use a red skirt you already own if you're trying to be more budget-friendly.
